SOLD 8 x 4 inches oil on linen panel. Created onsite at Nubble Light in York, Maine. When I arrived, there was so much fog the lighthouse appeared void of color. Patches of blue sky encouraged me to continue painting, resulting in this almost pastel-looking version of the iconic light.
