2026 "Painting Winter" Watercolor Workshops

Improve your watercolor paintings in 3 steps.

Each session will include instruction on the 3 steps to better watercolor paintings and a unique painting project themed on Painting Winter.

Beginners welcome in January but must demonstrate painting or drawing skill to qualify for February and/or March.

Each session and each workshop stand alone - no need to take them all. However each month will present progressive learning opportunities.

Here is what you get when you secure your seat:

- 3 Hours of Expert Instruction: Enjoy individual attention from retired architect and watercolorist John Shevenell. 

-Professional Quality Materials To Use: No need to bring supplies.

-3 Paths to Learning: John's 3-step process will enable you to understand and execute much improved watercolor paintings

-Practice:  You will be expected to do homework between the first and second sessions of the month

-Individual Attention: Immediately ask questions and receive lots of hands-on help. 

-On-site Art Supply Store: Conveniently purchase what you need to use for at-home exercises. 

-Small Groups of 6-7: You will learn in-person from an expert with other friendly art lovers. 

-Location: SEH Studios Art Gallery, 456 Central Ave., Dover, NH 

Limited to 7 students. Sometimes there is DROP IN availability when registered students can't make a class.
