- 18 Hours of Expert Instruction: Enjoy lectures, demonstrations, and exercises with our professional artist.
-No Experience Needed: Ed will demonstrate and teach basics and tips to help you draw accurate portraits using graphite pencils.
-Individual Attention: Immediately ask questions and receive lots of hands-on help.
-Final Portrait Project: Complete a final portrait during the last workshop incorporating all the skills, techniques, and tips you've practiced.
-On-site Art Supply Store: Conveniently purchase your class materials or bring your own.*
-Small Groups of 6: You will learn in-person from an expert with other friendly art lovers.

What you need: 9x12 Sketch pad; H, HB, and 4B or 6B graphite pencils; a kneaded eraser; and a sharpener
About Ed:
Ed Mangiaratti has been drawing and taking art classes for over 20 years. From a young age his self-teaching included reading art books and investigation, as well as trial and error. Although he works in various art forms, Ed specializes in portraits using graphite, charcoal, pastels, and watercolor. He finds the challenge of making an accurate portrait and conveying that person’s personality on paper very satisfying.
